The creation of the fragrance of the scented candle "Orange Blossom" was developed by a perfumer from Grasse, in the purest tradition of this region with unique know-how in the world. The result approaches the natural perfection of the ingredient, in its purest and most delicate expression. A feminine fragrance, slightly powdery, fresh as a summer morning, captivating as an oriental night.

Orange blossom is a white and fragrant flower that grows on the bitter orange tree, a tree that is also called "bitter orange" or "Seville orange". But this last name would be misleading as to the origin of the essence. Before the maturity of a fruit, "bitter orange", which is the citrus fruit that grows on its branches, small bouquets of flowers appear around the month of February. Once harvested, these flowers with their volatile scent can be steam distilled. From this distillation, two natural treasures are harvested in turn: the essential oil, also called "Neroli" and the floral water of "orange blossom", both fragrant, like slightly different sisters, but just as elegant.

The orange blossom of Provence followed the Arab merchants. It went up to Sicily and conquered the heart of France, passing through the lands of Provence: as is often the case, the history of perfumed ingredients, essences and aromatic plants repeats itself. It almost always follows the path of the botanists who crisscrossed Provence… but it was the Princess of Ursins, Marie-Anne de la Trémoille who popularized the scent of orange blossom in the 17th century in all the courts of Europe. The fact remains that the craze for this flower had already reached the Orient, which could not imagine a garden without adorning it with this flower of paradise to perfume the air. Some luxuries are eternal…
