Game instructions
The objective is to form the best five-card combination and win the pot (the total bets). This can be achieved by revealing the best hand during the showdown or by forcing your opponents to fold.
Setting up:
- Card game: Texas Hold'em is played with a standard 52-card deck (no jokers).
- Chips: Each player receives an equal number of chips, used as currency in the game.
- Dealer: Designate a dealer (the player who deals the cards). This role rotates clockwise after each round.
Blinds (Mandatory Bets):
The player to the left of the dealer posts the small blind (smart blind).
The player to the left of the small blind posts the big blind.
The blind amounts are set before the start of the game and determine the minimum bets.
Game Play:
a) Hole Cards:
Each player receives two hole cards face down, visible only to themselves.
b) First Betting Phase:
The first betting phase begins with the player to the left of the big blind.
Call: Match the big blind.
Raise: Increase the bet.
Fold: Surrender the hand and withdraw from the round.
c) The Flop:
After the first betting phase, the dealer places three community cards face up on the table. These cards can be used by all players to improve their hand. A second betting phase begins, starting with the first active player to the dealer's left.
d) The Turn:
The dealer adds a fourth community card face up on the table. A third betting phase follows.
e) The River:
The dealer adds a fifth community card face up on the table. A fourth and final betting phase follows.
f) Showdown:
If, after the last betting phase, at least two players remain in the game, a showdown takes place.
Each player reveals their hole cards. The winner is determined as follows:
The best five-card combination, formed from the two hole cards and the five community cards, wins the pot.

Tips for Beginners:

Watch your opponents: their bets can indicate the strength of their hand.
Bet strategically to force your opponents to fold or maximize the pot.
